Many individuals face personal struggles and engage in a spiritual battle, yet it is important to remember that we are not Alone. Divine assistance comes through the mighty Archangels and Holy Angels, whose presence offers solace and support.

As Late Great Pope Saint John Paul II expressed, he held a profound devotion to his Guardian Angel, having prayed to it since childhood. He noted that his Guardian Angel was aware of his actions, and his faith in its presence and care was deeply rooted. He often invoked St. Michael the Archangel, along with St. Gabriel and St. Raphael, in his prayers.

The term "archangel" originates from the Greek words "arche" meaning "ruler" and "angelos" meaning "messenger", reflecting their dual roles: governing other angels and conveying messages from God to humanity.

While worship of angels is not appropriate, believers are encouraged to pray to them as a form of requesting divine support, analogous to calling upon our Heavenly Father. Such prayers acknowledge their role as messengers and servants of God's will.

Angels play a significant role throughout biblical history and in our spiritual lives. They serve as intermediaries between Heaven and Earth, carrying out God's will through various acts—visiting, guiding, protecting, supporting, singing, and praising God. Their marvelous deeds often exceed human expectations, demonstrating the greatness of divine power.

Understanding the presence of Angels and Archangels involves not only asking for their assistance but also recognizing them, allowing their entry into our lives, and giving them the opportunity to fulfill their divine missions. Respecting divine free will, angels do not intervene unless invited through prayer.

Knowledge of the hierarchy among angels and archangels enhances understanding of their support in different situations. There are specific prayers dedicated to each Archangel for each day of the week, aligning with their respective feast days.

Believers assert that God assigns guardian angels to protect each person on Earth; however, archangels are often dispatched for larger-scale divine tasks. Prayer is a sincere expression of hope or desire, making prayer to angels highly recommended as a compassionate communication with the divine realm.
